Mission Statement
We are not just divided, we are fractionated, and it is damaging the very core of what made this country so successful. We have our differences, but a closer look indicates that we should be united. The mission here is to point out out our uniting beliefs and to suggest ways to fix our broken systems.
The world has changed radically and we have not adjusted yet. This internet information culture has not gone as hoped. The plethora of "news" sources has invited all manner of fractious opinions and very few real facts. Social media and a lack of privacy has allowed corporate power to exploit every individual's personal weaknesses.
Our government no longer serves the People. It serves only those of incredible wealth who openly contaminate every aspect of public discourse.
And finally, we have abandoned our cultural moral foundations. The basis of our moral beliefs comes from the lessons learned from religious stories and even ancient mythical stories. But today, the underlying lessons are forgotten and only single-minded religious purity is demanded.
We don't need a revolution, We the People need to Party. Put down the crack pipe of social media, "news sources" and political blather. Talk with real people face to face. When you listen with respect, humility and understanding, you will hear that we are all suffering from the same effects our our broken systems. Beyond that, you will hear solutions, you will find out that you have been wrong in believing crap from the media and politicians.
When you talk to real people you will find that we all love the promise of the American Way. We want equal justice. We want to "Promote the General Welfare" of all people. We want to work and then have the time and resources to enjoy the "Blessings of Liberty".
From the illegal speakeasys in Iran to the smuggled movies in North Korea, the world loves American culture. They love our sports, they love our music, they love our clothes, they love our generosity when tragedy strikes. They fear our government and economic power, so let's fix it together!
I am one person, with one perspective on reality. The observations and suggestions in these articles are not intended as edicts but rather as new paths. It is certain that I will be wrong at times and strongly hope that every reader will respond with comments to correct any mistakes.
